Meeting place for players….

COMING SOON…

Next step:  CATEGORIES.

My goal as “umpire” is to offer a place for all players to meet.  The casual retiree who gets out to round robin in some doubles every week, the “Leaguers” who get out for the team, Rated players enjoying the occasional tournament, Or professionals, both players and coaches, old and new.

So, start looking for your Meeting Place and enjoy!!

OK Here we go….

Alright, I know it’s taken a few months, but here we go…

How did you like the French Open?? I’m sorry to say I missed the women’s final – was out playing some round robins(hey if YOUR given the choice to PLAY or WATCH what would YOU do!!).

Was disappointed that there were no replays not really even any mention during the men’s final on Sunday. Now that I did see.

Nadal is inspiring – is it because we both play southpaw, or that he never gives up, just takes it point by point? It can’t hurt that he’s both gracious in the wins and the losses – the fact that he’s the same age as one of my own children can’t hurt(what a great kid).

NOW COMES WIMBLEDON!!

What do you think? This site is “a meeting place for players” so as a player do you think Wimbledon belongs to Federer(the most skilled young man out there,in my very humble opinion) or is the gap between Federer’s SKILL and some of these men’s WILL narrowing?

Come on lets hear it…
